Vicente Sotto Hospital - Cruel Intentions

I rarely read the local dailies nowadays, but today, while having my lunch, I grabbed the latest issue from SunStar Daily and read about this claim by a gay against Vicente Sotto Hospital, a local government hospital here in Cebu City, Philippines. At first, I thought this was really funny. Reports say that a person has a foreign body inserted in his anal cavity. It made me laugh and almost lost my apetite, this is just downright crazy. I tend to forget about it after scanning through the pages. But all that feeling changed when I saw the video upload at youtube.com late at night.

What they did was totally humiliating. It violates the "Patient - Doctor Trust" that I believe should be practiced in any hospital, local or abroad. How can this doctor allow his associates to happen in the first place. I got nothing more to say except, they should be penalized. This only shows the incapacity of our so called "medical professionals" to act professionally or think of the consequences of this ruthless action.

Making fun of that situation can not be stopped, but capturing it on video for the sole purpose of humiliating that person is totally unacceptable. Come to think of it, they are doctors.
